Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how Thrive Interests collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, fill out forms, or work with us as a client. Our goal is to be transparent, straightforward, and respectful of your data.

Thrive Interests is a financial clarity consulting business owned and operated by Landon Brandvik. We provide dashboard creation, financial reporting, and strategic consulting services to small business owners.

 

2. What Information We Collect

We only collect the information we need to communicate with you and provide our services. This may include:

  • Contact information (name, email address, phone number)

  • Business information (business name, industry, accounting platform)

  • Intake form responses

  • Website behavior (if using analytics like Wix Analytics or Microsoft Clarity)

  • Invoices and payment records (when billing for services)

  • Business performance data stored temporarily in Google BigQuery for reporting purposes

We do not collect or store sensitive information like credit card numbers, passwords, or social security numbers.

If clients choose to share financial files (e.g., spreadsheets, QuickBooks exports), those are stored securely in OneDrive or Microsoft 365 platforms and never shared with third parties.

 

3. How We Collect It

We collect your information through:

  • Forms you fill out on our website (e.g., contact or intake forms)

  • Emails or calls you initiate with us

  • Scheduling platforms (e.g., Calendly)

  • Invoices or payment tools (e.g., QuickBooks)

  • Analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity, Wix Site Analytics)

  • Cloud-based integrations (e.g., Coupler.io and BigQuery)

 

4. Why We Collect Your Information

We collect and use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

  • Deliver the services you request (e.g., dashboards, reports, strategy sessions)

  • Manage your account and send invoices

  • Improve our services and website experience

  • Send occasional updates about relevant services (with your consent)

  • Store and organize business performance data securely using Google BigQuery when needed for dashboard reporting

We do not sell your data or share it with third-party marketers.

 

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored securely using tools like Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and QuickBooks Online. In cases where financial or performance data is needed for reporting, it may also be stored in Google BigQuery through our integration with Coupler.io.

We take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of your data.

We use:

  • Encrypted storage where applicable

  • Password-protected systems and accounts

  • Two-factor authentication where available

Only authorized individuals working on your project have access to your data.

Clients should never send login credentials or banking information directly. If temporary access is required, it will be handled securely and removed immediately after use.

 

6. Third-Party Services We Use

We may use the following third-party platforms to provide our services:

  • Microsoft 365 (email, storage, forms)

  • Wix (website and contact form hosting)

  • Power BI (data visualization)

  • QuickBooks Online (invoicing)

  • Calendly (scheduling)

  • Coupler.io (data integration)

  • Google BigQuery (via Coupler.io) – used to temporarily store client financial data in a secure, encrypted cloud environment in order to create live dashboards in Power BI

All data stored in BigQuery is limited to what is needed for reporting purposes and is subject to Google Cloud’s security and privacy compliance.

 

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct or delete your personal data

  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To make any of these requests, just email landon@thriveinterests.com and we’ll respond promptly.

 

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We only keep your data as long as necessary to:

  • Provide our services

  • Comply with accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations

If you are no longer a client, we’ll retain your data only as long as needed for tax and business records. At any point, data stored in BigQuery can be deleted upon request or at the conclusion of the service agreement.

 

9. Policy Updates

If this policy changes, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Major changes will be communicated directly to affected users.
