I’m currently a financial analyst at a fast-growing IT company — one that’s navigating the very real challenges of scaling, structuring, and staying strategic through growth. Being part of this journey has shown me something that many founders don’t always realize:

As I’ve worked through financial forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic planning, I’ve noticed consistent patterns — not just in our business, but in many small businesses I’ve come across:

I was born and raised in San Antonio, and after earning my finance degree from Texas A&M University — where I also met my wife — I came back home to build my career here. While working full-time, I’ve been completing my MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship, and through that process, I realized I didn’t just want to analyze numbers — I wanted to help people use them to grow better businesses.

 

That’s where Power BI came in.

 

What started as a tool quickly became a passion. I fell in love with turning disconnected data into dashboards that actually made people feel more in control of their decisions. Unlike many in finance, I don’t just crunch numbers — I build visual systems that help founders lead with confidence.
